Blockchain is currently a core technology for developing new types of decentralized applications. With the unique properties blockchain, challenges and characteristics are introduced to system. Among these characteristics, infrastructure costs benefits system critical evaluate feasibility any have yet be addressed in current literature. This work presents framework evaluating blockchain applications’ benefits. The includes taxonomy classify related transactions, model applications using public or private blockchains, methodology guide use model. based on simple parameters that describe systems, helps identify estimate at stage application life cycle. We quantitatively analyze three real cases demonstrate framework’s merit. analyses highlight model’s accuracy by achieving same results presented cases.
